Professor-researcher at the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana-Iztapalapa. She studied her doctorate at the Instituto de Investigaciones Filosóficas of the UNAM, did a postdoctorate at the UAM-C and was a visiting professor at a University of Pittsburgh. Her publications include: 10 articles, 16 book chapters, 3 book editions, 1 original book, 8 translations. Her areas of expertise are cognitive sciences, theoretical and experimental studies on corruption, cognitive dysfunctions, history and philosophy of science, bio-inspired technologies and interdiscipline in general.
